United States Has Lost the A.I. Battle to China, the Former Software Chief of The Pentagon Claims

China, the second-largest economy, is predicted to lead many new technologies, including artificial intelligence, synthetic biology, genetics, and synthetic biology, within the next decade, based on a Western assessment of intelligence.

“We have no competing fighting chance against China in 15 to 20 years. Right now, it’s already a done deal; it is already over, in my opinion,” the official told the paper.

Chaillan has criticized the unwillingness of Google to collaborate with the U.S. defense department on A.I. and the extensive debates on A.I. ethics and the impact on his country down. The United States is down. Google did not appear to be available to discuss the matter outside of business hours.
