Gabriel Macht, born on January 22, 1972, in The Bronx, New York, is an accomplished American actor known for his dynamic career both on screen and in theater. Raised by Suzanne, a museum curator, and actor Stephen Macht, Gabriel, alongside his three siblings, relocated to California during his formative years.

Gabriel Macht Early Success and Career:

Macht’s foray into the entertainment world began at the age of 8, earning him a nomination for the Best Young Motion Picture Actor Award for his role in “Why Would I Lie?” (1980). Briefly stepping back from acting as a child, he returned to the industry as an adult, carving a niche with diverse roles that showcased his evolving talents. After completing high school, Macht pursued his passion for theater, studying at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh.

Remaining active in the theater scene, Macht became associated with the Mad Dog Theater Company in New York. His theatrical journey included performances in notable productions such as “To Whom It May Concern” at the Belgrade International Theatre Festival (1997) and “Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile” Off Broadway.

Macht’s on-screen presence includes noteworthy roles in films like “Love & Other Drugs,” “The Spirit,” and “The Good Shepherd.” On television, he had guest appearances in “Sex and the City,” “Spin City,” and was a regular on Steven Spielberg’s “The Others.” However, he is best known for his iconic portrayal of Harvey Specter in the USA drama “Suits” since 2011.

Macht, of Ashkenazi Jewish descent, maintains a diverse lifestyle, residing in New York, Los Angeles, and the Sunshine Coast, Australia. He shares his life with spouse Jacinda Barrett, whom he married on December 29, 2004, and their two children, Satine Anais Geraldine Macht and Luca Macht.
