The Black Forest, Germany’s southernmost region, is famous for its evergreen, dense forests and charming villages. The region is associated with numerous Brothers Grimm fairy tales and its cuckoo clocks, spas, and saunas. Freiburg is the biggest city, is home to Gothic structures, and is set in vineyards. Tourists visiting The Black Forrest will be captivated by the scenery and take hours to explore the city.

Freiberg is located in the middle in the south of Black Forest has many luxury places to visit. Check it out at Stuhlinger Kirche for a fantastic dinner, where local farms are transformed into outdoor pop-up restaurants. The guests can sit in the shade of the walnut trees and taste local delights. In the summer, the town offers many varieties of wine to sample. The 1,284-meter tall Schauinsland is atop the city.

The Black Forest Open Air Museum is another excellent attraction for visitors. Discounts are available for train tickets, local day tickets, and tickets for families. The museum can take visitors back to the past and the Black Forrest by showcasing quaint traditional homes crafters, and storage buildings. Apart from antique artifacts, Open Air Museum also features an outdoor play space for children. It’s a wonderful location to bring the whole family.
