  1. Saleh’s youth career began in 2009 when, at age 15, he joined Al Ahli Saudi FC’s youth program. Al Ahli Saudi FC is one of Saudi Arabia’s most prosperous professional soccer clubs. Until 2012, when he was elevated to the club’s senior team, he continued in the system.
  2. He scored two goals in seven games while leading the Portuguese professional soccer team S.C. Beira-Mar during the 2012–2013 season. In September 2012, during his first game for the team, he made history by becoming the first Saudi Arabian player to ever score an aim in a match played in Europe.
  3. The fastest aim ever scored in the Primeira Liga, the top division of the Portuguese soccer league system, was scored by Saleh in his team’s successive game.
  4. At the international level, he represented Saudi Arabia at the under-20 (2011-2013) and under-23 (2012-2016) divisions before making his senior national debut in 2020. Saleh’s first aim at the senior level for Saudi Arabia came in a 3-0 friendly victory over Jamaica in November 2020, when he scored the second aim.
